The King is in the Netherlands on a private visit, and it is unclear if he has any formal meetings during this trip.
On the occasion of his unofficial visit to the Netherlands, King Mohammed VI visited Van Gogh Museum in Amsterdam on Saturday.
The art museum, one of Amsterdam’s best attractions, is dedicated to the works of Vincent van Gogh, one of the Netherlands’ greatest painters.
On Friday evening, The King was spotted on an informal walkabout in Amsterdam shortly after his arrival in the Netherlands from Hungary where he also went for informal strolls. Dressed in a jumper, jeans and a knitted hat, Mohammed VI walked around in the capital city, and many young Dutch-Moroccans took the chance to take pictures with him. The photos have since gone viral on social media.
There are reports that the king will be in the Netherlands for several days. It is however unclear if he would have any official meetings.
