A 39-year-old Moroccan man died after being shot by a member of the Spanish Guardia Civil on Monday morning.
The incident occurred after an accident involving both the victim and the perpetrator on a highway in the suburbs of the capital Madrid.
The Moroccan man lost control over his vehicle and collided with another vehicle in which the member of Spanish Civil Guard was a passenger, Spanish ABC reported quoting police.
It was then when the civil guard got out of the car and started firing at the victim who was still behind the wheel.
The Moroccan received 3 shots in the head rendering him dead.
Preliminary results of the investigation indicated that the civil guard, who was arrested at the scene, was under the influence of alcohol and drugs at the time of the incident, ABC reported.
