Morocco booked a place for the Africa Cup of Nations Gabon 2017 after a convincing win.

The Atlas Lions beat Cape Verde 2-0 in Marrakech on Tuesday to become the first qualifiers for the tournament.

Granada CF star Youssef El Arabi scored the two goals for Morocco in the second half of the match, the first from a penalty.
